Good class but not at all what I thought it would be (I.e. no winter landscapes which was to be the subject of the class per the registration).

Hello I rated the ent a 5 as they all look very enjoyable and creative. However I did not attend. Do the Houston Watercolor group/instructirs not send out instructions for meeting prior to the classes? I also never heard if my voucher was accepted so wasn?t sure I was even in the class. I think more effort to communicate with people would be helpful, especially for first-timers. Thank you.

I loved the class! From the beginning to the end, it was fun, easygoing and I learned a big deal. I didn't know that it would be outside (I probably would have signed up if I knew that due to yhe warm weatherin Houston) but it was really enjoyable and a very new thing for me. I think the instructor is great! I will be back for sure :)

Fred Rogers has always inspired me. Not only to be more neighborly but in quiet strength and the power of kindness. Truly an American treasure and a gem of a human being.I painted this watercolor on 100 cotton paper using glazing and wet-on-wet. The portrait is pretty much monochromatic (as are the character puppets in the background).

Title or Location: Island Sunset
This 9x12 watercolor was inspired by a photograph of the Turks and Caicos Islands at sunset where she was recently visiting. Plam trees dominate tge scene overlaying the bushes with a peek of the cabanas and calm ocean in the background. You see the sky at sunset with dark rainclouds on the horizon. I painted this piece to exemplify atmospheric landscapes with both energy and tranquility,
